The Argo Trust is a purpose-built home situated in the Aro Valley. We are a provider of disability services to six adults who have profound intellectual and physical disabilities.
Argo House is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a team of full and part time staff. The staff are motivated, energetic and committed to ensuring the residents of the Trust have all opportunities in life available to them - and to have lots of fun and excitement doing it!
The Trust is managed by Dayna Atkinson, alongside Training & Development Manager Leigh McDonald, Sacha Dicks - the Day Service Coordinator and Giuliano Serrao- Quality Coordinator.

Each resident has their own unique bedroom and the house works just like a flatting situation. Staff assist and support the resident’s with all daily living activities and personal cares, whilst encouraging independence. Argo House is well equipped with modern technology to ensure both resident and staff are safe and comfortable. These supports enable staff to lift, position, transfer and make mobility possible. Whilst there is a solid focus on the day-to-day running of the house we also make the most of living in central Wellington by being involved in the local and wider community - enjoying shopping, concerts, sporting events, time with family, cafes and outings.

Club Argo is an on-site day service focused on community participation and lifestyle opportunities. Club Argo creates a new plan every six months, with different activities accommodating the winter and summer seasons. Club Argo operates from Monday to Friday. Outings and activities can occur as a group or on an individual basis. Residents also have Supported Lifestyle Plans that are often incorporated into the club programmes. Some of the activities and things we do are: Physio and exercise, yoga, music, art, swimming, massage, café’s, shopping, Positively Me (relaxation and beauty), concerts, horse riding, attending and holding exhibitions and many more…
