We are excited about securing relationships with funding bodies and community trusts.
If your funding organisation believes that those who live with physical and intellectual disability deserve to live life as fully and vitally as any able-bodied Kiwi, we would love to talk with you.
The Argo model has been successful now for 26 years. We embrace a relationship-driven, whole of life dynamic for the residents. We also believe that the smaller-scale Argo Trust model can and should be replicated throughout New Zealand.
We have a team of 20 staff who all play a vital role in ensuring the 6 residents have the highest quality and personalised residential care possible. Of equal importance to us, is seeing the residents:
Proactively live a vital, rich and socially integrated life
Engage meaningfully with the wider community
Enjoy the Great Outdoors
Overcome limiting stereotypes about what it means to live with a disability.
Argo is the place that Aiden, Marty, Steph, Hayden, Sophie & Glenny call home. Parents of the residents serve as our board members. They are our biggest cheerleaders, and can talk to how Argo have transformed the lives of their children.
We Really Do Need Your Support
It's obviously very expensive to sustain a residential care facility like Argo. We have highly specialised equipment that come with big price tags and invariably need to be replaced.
As a non-profit Charitable Trust, we are totally dependant on government funding for our core operational expenses.
Our mandate that the residents should live fully active lives, vitally engaged with the community and the scenic joys of the Greater Wellington region, means that we have to fundraise everything else ourselves.
We'd Love You To Partner With Us
Partnering with Argo financially means investing in the best possible quality of life for Aiden, Marty, Steph, Hayden, Sophie & Glenn.
