We believe the residents have the right to live life to the fullest and be as involved in the life of the greater community as possible. At Argo, we live by the mantra that disability will NOT get in the way of the residents experiencing a full life, lived with dignity.
We created a little philosophy called no track pants. It's not unusual in New Zealand to see people with disability dressed in a way that doesn't reflect their dignity or unique personality. That's not the way we work here at Argo. If taking pride in your appearance is good enough for fully-abled people, it's good enough for the residents too.

Club Argo
Club Argo is an on-site day service for the residents, focusing on community participation and lifestyle opportunities.
With Club Argo, we create a new plan every six months, with different activities accommodating the winter and summer seasons.
Club Argo operates from Monday to Friday. Outings and activities for the residents can occur as a group, or on an individual basis. Residents also have Supported Lifestyle Plans that are often incorporated into the club programmes.
